Croatian Psalter – Luka Bračanin translation

The Biblical Institute presented the next volume of our Croatian Psalter project, the book of Psalms as translated by Luka Bračanin (1598).

In the Croatian Psalter project we take centuries-old translations of the book of Psalms into Croatian dialects, digitize them, and publish them in accessible modern editions. Most of these documents exist only in hand-written manuscripts and have never been published for the public.

The Croatian Psalter is important for understanding the history of reception of the Psalms in the Croatian church. These volumes are important artifacts of Croatian religion and culture.
