
Goran Medved (1973) grew up in Zagreb, where he attended the Educational Center for Languages and studied six foreign languages in his entire education. He completed the bulk of his higher educational studies in the USA, on athletic and academic scholarships, earning high academic honors (summa cum laude). He has a B.S. in International Studies (business, politics and foreign languages). He started his theological studies at the Bible Institute in Zagreb, and continued at Lipscomb University in Nashville, where he earned a Masters in Theological Studies with an emphasis in New Testament. He is enrolled in a doctoral program at Aurel Vlaicu University in Arad, Romania. He served as the project manager and main editor of the first Croatian translation of the Bible into contemporary language. He has translated a whole Bible commentary and several important books, published by the Institute. He also served as a pastor, teacher, preacher and church planter. He currently teaches New Testament courses and biblical Greek language.
