How Did We Get the Bible?

Over the course of three engaging two-hour lectures, our lecturer, Goran Medved, explored the fascinating journey of how the biblical writings came to be. Through an interactive format, participants were guided through key questions such as:

• How were the biblical texts formed?

• Who were the authors?

• Did God speak directly to them?

• How have these texts been preserved over centuries and millennia?

• What insights do textual critics and scholars provide about biblical manuscripts?

• What kinds of Bible translations are available today, and can we trust them?

These thought-provoking sessions encouraged participants to deepen their understanding of the Bible’s origins, transmission, and the reliability of the translations we use today.
