New music project Sing a New Song

The Biblical Institute in partnership with the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Osijek  is organizing a unique music project and competition called “Sing a New Song” as part of the Heart of Worship conference in Osijek, Croatia taking place November 7 – 8 2025.

Interested musicians will be able to submit their songs to jury members consisting of theologians, musicians, pastors, and authors from various churches. 15 songs will be selected and performed at least six times during Sunday services across churches. After one year, through anonymous surveys, churches will select three songs that will have the opportunity for professional recording.

This is more than a competition, it’s a movement to inspire worship, support new authors, and give glory to God through music that reflects culture, history, and faith. The goal is to encourage creativity, strengthen unity among churches, and build a Croatian worship songbook with songs written in the language of local believers, rooted in Scripture, and sung in churches across the country. 🎶✨
