Ervin teaches the New Testament, biblical and hermeneutical courses and has published numerous articles in national and international journals. He has also published three books in the area of biblical theology and hermeneutics that are part of the book series “How (not) to get Lost in the Bible“. Currently, Ervin is serving as the principal of the Biblical Institute, editor in chief of Kairos – Evangelical Journal of Theology and secretary for the Evangelical Theological Association of Croatia. He is leading the research project “The Concept of Discipleship among the Evangelical Churches in Croatia” that will explore how and in what ways churches practice the discipleship model, what challenges and problems they face in doing so, and how this affects the building of individuals, families, churches and society at large. In his local church, Ervin is in the teaching ministry and serves as a church elder. He lives outside of Zagreb with his wife and two children. .
