
Stanko Jambrek (1957) received his M.Th. from Evangelical Theological Faculty in Osijek. In 2001 he earned his Ph.D. in Theology in the United States, and History (2012), from Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb. He served as a pastor in two evangelical churches. He has published and edited more than twenty books and collections, as well as numerous articles in national and international journals. He is the founder of Kairos – Evangelical Journal of Theology and served as the head editor from 2007 until his retirement in 2020. Stanko taught church history and theology at the Biblical Institute from 2002 until 2020. Stanko has been retired since 2021 but has continued partially working at the Biblical Institute as head of the scientific project Evangelical Churches in Croatia (1990-2020). He is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society in Zagreb and the Usa as well as of the International Society of Christian Apologetics (USA). He lives in Zagreb, Brdovec and Langley (Canada).
